The Razor Kick Scooter

The Razor kick scooter is the modern parallel of the kind of scooter that has been around for 50 years or more. In fact, children have probably been attaching boards to wheels ever since scrap wheels became available. As with those classic scooters, the Razor kick scooter is driven forward by foot power. That is, you place one foot on the board and push forward, or in other words kick back on the ground with the other.

Then there is the ‘A’ series of Razor kick scooter: the A, A2, A3 and AW. These models are approximately equal to a child’s growth in size, ability and experience, although the highest recommended weight for all three models of Razor kick scooter is 65 kilos or 143 lbs.

The Razor kick scooter Pro is a leap up in know-how and so has more capabilities. It can be used for extreme sport and will bear a rider weighing up to 100 kilos or 220 lbs.

Last, but not least, is the Cruiser Razor kick scooter. It will bear 79 kilos (175 lbs of weight and has larger wheels as it is designed for unhurried cruising about. The larger wheels mean that you won’t feel any uneven terrain beneath you while you are on this Razor kick scooter.

The sport of golf has really boomed in public awareness over the last 45 years. It has produced fantastic world-champions such as Arnold Palmer, Greg Norman and Tiger Woods and world-renowned courses like St. Andrews, Sunningdale, Pinehurst ans Augusta.

Why should playing golf have taken off like that? I think it has to be because by playing golf you are being active outdoors with friends or colleagues competing in a leisurely game that you can never perfect.

Your scorecard shows your progress, or lack of it, and this can spur you on to want to play again.

Here follows an elementary lesson for those who know nothing about golf.

Golf is played on an eighteen-hole course. Each hole has its own “par” (value), which is the combined number of tee shots (drives), fairway shots, chips (short hits as you approach the green), and putts (on the green) you should need to take.

The par number is based on the length and difficulty of the hole. Pars range from 3 to 6. If you get the ball in the hole in five shots on a par five hole, you “made par.” If it took you six shots, its called a bogie, if you made it in four, its a birdie.

There are usually “hazards” of some sort or other on all the holes. Bodies of water, sand traps, and trees are strategically placed to make reaching the hole more challenging. Beginner golfers should seek to find courses to play that are easier to play with fewer hazards.

Each player keeps his or her own score, marking the total number of shots for each hole. At the end, each person adds up their scores – the one with the lowest number is the winner.

It is important for beginner golfers to not take themselves too seriously. It takes a long time to get good at this game; even though the professionals make it look so easy.

A good tip is to get the basics right from the start by taking a few lessons from the course ‘pro’, because then you will learn the correct posture and swing.

We may think that a Pro would criticize too harshly, but they are honest, positive and usually very helpful.

Golf lessons at the local golf course aren’t as expensive as you probably think and they are worth it too, because your game will get better more rapidly and cause you less frustration, making the game much more fun for you.

It is of utmost importance to be absolutely honest about your game. The Pro will ask you what you want to learn: driving, chipping, putting or whatever you feel you need help with.

Listen to the Pro golfer very carefully and follow the Pro’s instructions. You may have doubts if the Pro changes your stance, your grip or your swing, but honestly, the Pro does know what is best.

Don’t hesitate to ask the Pro golfer any questions. Don’t worry about whether your question or concern may sound stupid – they’ve heard it all before and will not make you feel like an idiot for asking. If you don’t get it, tell him/her that you do not get it. You should never walk away from a lesson with unanswered questions.

For example, a course of lessons might be to concentrate on one thing during a lesson, or on several things. You might begin with a lesson on driving; get the grip, the stance, the swing and the follow-through right in one lesson and then practice it ‘for real’ for a few weeks until you feel that you’ve got it more or less right. Next time, you might decide you need help with your short game, or putting.

You’ve bought the set of golf clubs and it isn’t cheap, is it? So, it doesn’t make sense not to learn how to use it to it’s best advantage thereby improving your game and abilities, does it?

I have read tons of reviews about scooters and motorbikes, because I am a subscriber to a scooter and motorcycle enthusiasts’ magazine that carries articles about all the different sorts of scooters and motorcycles on the market. It also recommends the best one to buy depending on whether you are a first time owner or a two-wheeler old hand. The magazine is fantastic, and it helps me understand what other scooter owners feel about the different models and brands of scooters.

I have to say that people’s views vary quite widely on every subject, which is why it’s probably always better to do your own studying and get what best suits you, rather than getting what other people say will suit you, when they do not even know you. Having said that, many first time buyers do not actually know what they are looking for, and it is really these people that these reports are written for.

However, these reviews are not meant to be taken too literally, rather they are intended as a guideline so that potential greenhorn buyers have to ruminate about the aspects of buying a scooter or motorbike. It also gives experts a run down of the salient facts. Then you need to make up your own mind whether you care, for example, whether the scooter’s seat is made of leather or fabric.

All in all, I like this magazine because it takes into account people from all walks of life, and its writers and editor understand that even if you are interested in purchasing a scooter, you may not have enough money or you might be reading just out of interest in scooters or motorcycles.

We all know that money is difficult to come by these days, and consumers are becoming more and more well-informed about the goods they want, which is a good thing in my opinion. After all, there are other merchants who just desire to get the most money they can for their products and mark up their scooter prices to inflated amounts in the hope that they will get a few stupid customers that did not do their research.

And I am sure that they probably do get a few patrons like that, because they do stay in business somehow and I regularly hear awfulness stories about people who have paid far too much for their scooter or motorbike.

When you ask them why they did not take the trouble to read the reviews in a magazine, they usually say that they did not know about the magazines, or even worse, that they did not have enough time. Therefore it seems that they had enough time to work like a dog for the money, but then not enough time to read a short magazine review? I doubt it very much. With a bit of luck, consumers will continue becoming more and more careful about their purchases.

It is such a pity, so, If you happen to be a new scooter fan, or you know someone who is, please make sure you read the scooter and motorbike reviews before concluding a purchase. It can literally save you hundreds or even thousands of your hard earned dollars.

If you like remote controlled models and have plenty of space, then you might want to think about buying one of the new big remote control helicopters that have recently been introduced by several makes. Then I will be ready and willing to buy. But until then, I have a very bighearted and rich friend who owns one, and I will rehearse flying his. I have already taken it out once – it is so much more powerful than the typical, small remote control helicopters that you are most likely used to. When you first turn it on, the big remote control helicopter?s blades spin with such ferociousness, that you may worry that you are going to damage something. and then, when it lifts off the ground, you will feel a huge sense of accomplishment, knowing that you are the one who is controlling it.

And if you are able to make a successful, smooth landing as well, then you can truly consider yourself a helicopter pilot, because even those very experienced with small remote control helicopters will be impressed to see someone land a big remote control helicopter, because it really is totally different. So if you happen to be fortunate, rich, or just determined enough to purchase one of your own, enjoy your time with your giant helicopter.

I assure you that it will be one of the most exciting experiences of your life. For me, the entire process was unreal, and when it was all over, I had to phone everyone I knew and tell them how I had flown a 10 foot helicopter and landed it smoothly.
